Samsung has confirmed that the Galaxy Note 5 and Galaxy S6 Edge+ will no longer get the September 2018 security patch update. It surprising that Galaxy S6 has dropped off from the list of the devices receive the monthly security patch update early this year. These Galaxy devices will not receive the security patches update every month going forward.

No more Monthly Security patch update on Galaxy Note 5 and Galaxy S6 edge+

As Samsung has detailed on the Contents of the September 2018 Security Patch update, and the eligible list of the device will get the September 2018 security update. Galaxy Note 5 and Galaxy S6 edge+ has dropped out of the list.

It was a surprise for the Galaxy Note 5 and Galaxy S6 edge+ users that get the software support for three-year-old. Following the Samsung has promised only get software support for two years old for the Galaxy device that reveal on the market.

Anyways last these two model has just received the latest feature and security patch August 2018 update. But it can be said that these two models have dropped out of the eligibility of the September 2018 security update
